L&L: Tell us a little bit about you & your business.

My name is Courtney Wetzel and I own two special occasion boutiques. I purchased Pancsofar’s Bridal in 2011 and I recently opened Blush on January 3, 2016. We focus on providing an experience to our customer that is centered on an inspiring boutique interior, personalized, one-on-one service, and only the best in designer fashions. We deliver a high-end experience with affordable price points.

L&L: Describe the range of services you offer.

We dress ladies for all formal occasions, from prom, pageant, and cocktail attire to wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. We also provide quality formal menswear rentals. We have a full array of accessories, headpieces, and statement jewelry.

L&L: What is one thing you would say makes your business unique in the industry?

Our differentiating feature is the experience we deliver. For us, it’s not just about selling a dress. It’s about the entire process, every detail. We pay attention to all the little things that make that day a memory you’ll treasure. Anyone can sell a dress, but it takes far more to leave a lasting impression of excellence in every way.

L&L: What are some of your favorite venues and vendors you enjoy working with in the area?

In Northern Maine, we love working with Tina from Interior Accents, Derrick from Aroostook Limousines, Kelly from Confectionately Yours, and Karen from Cook Florist. We can’t wait to get settled into Central Maine and form relationships with vendors in that area.

L&L: How far in advance do couples usually book you for their wedding day?

Girls typically start shopping for their wedding gown 9-12 months prior to the date.

L&L: How do most clients find you?

Most of our clients come to us from word of mouth, but we also have many visit due to our strong online & social media presence.

L&L: What is the most memorable wedding you worked at and why?

Our most memorable wedding would have to be that of a sweet girl whose mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer. There was a very quick timeline, but we worked closely with the bride to make sure everything was ready in time and perfect for their big day. Everyone in the party was so sweet and thankful, and it was a wedding that truly celebrated love- both of the couple and of the family and friends that supported them.
