The Maine Photo CamperThe husband and wife team behind The Maine Tinker Photography also owns a new, and we have to admit, pretty darn cool, photo booth called Maine Photo Camper. What used to be their camper is now transformed into a vintage traveling photo booth. Read more from owner Siobhan Bogle about their styling and creative new idea.

L&L: Tell us a little bit about you & your business.

I’m a mother of two beautiful children and a wife of handy man Geoff Bogle, a wedding and lifestyle photographer and a special education teacher. We live in the beautiful state of Maine and we love to be busy. I have always loved to create. My grandfather called me his little tinker, a reference to travelers in Ireland known for fixing things and selling their arts and crafts out of trailers and caravans. I love being apart of weddings and my work is seen at It is inspired by relationships, travel and living life. Through these beautiful events I often ran photo booths, or worked with other wonderful photobooth vendors. Then it dawned on me! Why not bring the “tinker” to reality and create a Photo Booth camper. My husband and I gutted the whole camper out and created a funky traveling studio/photo booth and we think it is a blast! It is perfect for weddings or other celebrations and events.

L&L: Describe the range of services you offer.

We are a husband and wife all inclusive photo team combining The Maine Tinker Studio and our sweet little 1968 vintage Franklin Camper named Lucy. Lucy is a one of a kind experience for you wedding, party or corporate event. The booth comes with a wide array of backdrops and props, but we love customizing backdrops and props to the vision of your event.
We believe in creating a quality, high-end photo booth experience. We have unique prop sets, instead of “box of junk,”and we truly believe in quality vs. quantity for Lucy. From antique phones, and cameras to a “Maine” theme, “Sailor” and “lobstermen” theme. As always everything is customizable . We love hunting for the perfect props for your special event. We love working closely with our clients to provide a one of a kind experience for everyone! We have many different packages to choose from, including options of print strips, just digital downloads and guests albums etc.

L&L: What is one thing you would say makes your business unique in the industry?

We put a spin on the great experience of photo booths and provide a place and an experience your guests will remember. They even can walk away with a photo of their experience in the camper.

L&L: What are some of your favorite venues and vendors you enjoy working with in the area?

We love working anywhere. I have worked in tons of beautiful venues as a wedding photographer. While the camper is still new we are working on finding camper friendly locations. We love working with Ryan’s team at Fire and Co. We had a blast decorating our camper with flowers from Montgomery’s Flowers and Produce, and at Pineland Farms with Black Tie and we just had a great experience at the SMCC hospitality center with the camper!

L&L: How far in advance to couples usually book you for their wedding day?

Usually a year in advanced.

L&L: How do most clients find you?

Through word of mouth and friends!

L&L: What is the most memorable wedding you’ve worked at and why?

We truly love all of our clients, but we loved our first wedding at SMCC with Kalien and Michael, it went super easy and it was so smooth to pull in the camper.

L&L: How can couples get in touch with you?
