Ashton & Mike married at The Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine, this past August. Their wedding is full of quirky and awesome details, like wine cork boutonnieres and fun socks for the groomsmen. Our favorite aspect of the wedding, however, is that it combines such bold, vibrant colors with touches of a 1920-inspired Gatsby look. For instance, notice Ashton’s adorable headband and chunky pearl accessories. Peacock feathers make an appearance in the bouquets and table centerpieces, and gold accents dot the reception area. Most impressively, though, Ashton & Mike achieved a classy feel that still retained elements of DIY, making it feel elegant yet approachable. Wonderful job all around!

Congratulations to Ashton & Mike, and a huge thank you to Carrie Pellerin Photography for sharing these beautiful images!

Quirky is definitely the right word to use, but I love it. The colours of the older and younger bridesmaid dresses really catch the eye. And the colour theme throughout the whole setting is just brilliant. Loving the lemonade pot idea.
