Kelsey & Michael met in middle school through mutual friends, became close friends in high school, and started dating in their senior year. These high school sweethearts keep their relationship going all throughout college, which they both attended in Maine, but at separate colleges. Long distance is no easy task, so kudos to them both for maintaining such a strong and committed relationship even from afar! They moved in together after graduating, and a year later became engaged.

Kelsey relates that one of her favorite parts of the wedding was the couple’s choice to have a “non first look” in which the couple spoke to each other on the morning of the wedding with a door acting as a visual barrier. She says, “We loved keeping the tradition of not seeing each other before the ceremony but it was so nice to have that moment together before the ceremony and calm nerves.”

The couple chose the breathtaking French’s Point in Stockton Springs, Maine as their venue. They rented out the entire farmhouse on French’s Point, in which their entire bridal party and guests stayed for multiple nights. Kelsey says this was a great choice for the couple as “it was so relaxing to keep the celebration going for more than just the one day!”

Congratulations to Kelsey & Michael, and a huge thank you to Darling Photography for sharing these stunning images! See more of Kelsey & Michael’s wedding on LulaWed.com!
